2001: A Space Oddyssey
Often called the greatest science fiction film of all time, this Stanley Kubrick - Arthur C. Clarke collaboration is loosely based on the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. Human evolution is traced from apelike creatures learning to be biped to the evolution of homo sapiens to "star man." A timeless classic, the special effects and score are as mesmerizing today as they were thirty years ago. "A unique masterpiece, immensely influential" - Leonard Maltin.
Available in regular VHS, letterbox VHS, and DVD.
