Internet Infidels: Web.Scan: 1998: October

web.scan

Milking your sacred cow for all it's worth

It's not porn, it's research

First of all, I hate to have to do this, but I should warn you up front that this month's web.scan is going to include links to some of the most offensive, hate-filled and obscene allegedly 'Christian' pages I've ever seen. If you thought www.godhatesfags.com was bad, well, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Neal Horsley is the webmaster of www.christiangallery.com, the website of the "Creator's Rights Party". And it's odd, but sometimes a document can be so vehement about something that you wonder if the author isn't hiding a completely different message.

Mr Horsley is vehement about his hatred of pornography; especially gay pornography. He hates it so much that he has trawled many of the gay porn sites on the web, and collected scanned photos of particularly obscene and explicit sex acts. He's put the photos in The Christian Gallery, on The Sick Page, gleefully labelling them as "gruesome, perverted, Satanic images of evil". To make sure we get the point, he mixes in pictures of dead babies and aborted fetuses.

The obvious question, of course, is why anyone disgusted by pornography would want to browse large amounts of it, collect and catalog it, and show it to everyone on his web site. Neal Horsley's answer? He's providing a vital educational service. He wants to make sure everyone gets a chance to see the depravity that goes on in America. He's hoping that it will encourage them to join his "Creator's Rights Party". As he puts it:

The Creator's Rights Party is committed to arresting faggots of all types. Why?

It will give faggots an opportunity to be delivered from their bondage to whatever it is that is moving them to choose behavior that will inevitably cause them to be burned in the fire.

So basically, Neal wants to take all those gay men in bondage, arrest them, handcuff them, and discipline them. For their own good. And that's why he's collecting all those gay porn photos. Well, I'm glad we've cleared that up...

The "Creator's Rights Party" is quick to condemn other evils too, whether it's our continuing perverted tolerance of OJ Simpson or the Satanic influence of Jimmy Carter. And they have a plan for how to reform the nation: secession via nuclear weapons. You see, Neal Horsley wants to be Governor of Georgia; and once he's achieved that, he wants Georgia to threaten to secede from the USA, starting a nuclear civil war if necessary. Basically, he wants to give the federal government three choices:

  1. Execute all doctors who have ever carried out abortions, ban all abortions, ban homosexuality, and round up all the homosexuals.

  2. Destroy the union by having Georgia secede.

  3. Nuclear civil war in the USA.

The major flaw in his reasoning, of course, is that option two looks fabulous to the other forty nine states. In fact, here in Massachusetts you could probably get a majority to vote for it right now. Nevertheless, the Creator's Rights Party are confident that everyone will pick option one, so they're already compiling a hit-list of doctors they can round up and send to the death camps.

My conclusion? The Christian Gallery is yet another indication of the damage caused by the War On Drugs -- because as Neal Horsley's biographical information reveals, he used to be an anti-Vietnam-war hippy in San Francisco. He was arrested for smuggling marijuana, and given an 18 year prison sentence. Maybe it was the harshness of prison life, or maybe it was a bad experience in the showers; but when he came out, he was a born again hate-filled Christian, ready to murder doctors and burn homosexuals. A warning to us all about the dehumanizing effects of prison.
