Tsunamis and The Mystery of God's Love
Ryan Hendricks
The Love of God, such mystery,
The wisest know not what it means,
To heal the sick and raise the dead,
For prayers prayed and verses read,
Destroy the weak and break the strong,
disease the pure and stop their song.
His Will, His Will, Omniscient Plan,
has slaughtered many a righteous man.
While children suffer, starve and die,
He comforts not, nor tells them why.
Off playing some new cosmic game,
He has no time to sooth their pain.
His record's poor, this super Guy
for everything he makes must die.
The Love of God, such mystery,
The wisest know not what it means,
But more bizarre, much more oblique,
Why still His Love, the masses seek.
